Ensuring accessibility of digital materials is the responsibility of everyone, but many feel overwhelmed with the idea and are unsure of where to begin.  This session will explore Blackboard Ally and other tools being used at Alvin Community College to champion our accessibility efforts. Participants will learn about Universal Design for Learning principles, and how simple accessibility practices can impact student learning. Participants will then work through a series of “accessibility challenges” using Ally to identify and correct accessibility issues, earning “points” for “green” accessibility scores. At the end of the session, participants will share one thing they can do to foster a more inclusive learning.  Are you up to the challenge?
